Maputo, On March 4, 2026, CMM, represented by Edson Matches, and AGMM – Associação Geológica Mineira de Moçambique, represented by José Albino Mendes, signed a memorandum of understanding.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to:
1. Collaboration for the sustainable development of the mining sector in Mozambique;
2. Strengthening the link between the academic/professional sector and the mining business sector, through concrete mechanisms for cooperation, funding and the development of national talent;
3. Creating specific professional development opportunities as essential strategic investments for the competitiveness and sustainability of the Mozambican mining sector.
